WVU Hazing Prevention Advocacy Network

  HPAN
In 2023, the WVU Hazing Prevention Task Force launched the Hazing Prevention Advocate Network. This one hour training is open to any WVU faculty, staff, student, alumni or Morgantown community member at no cost.

Participants will learn the working definition of hazing in University and State contexts, as well as learn how to identify acts of hazing and the methods of reporting the act to the appropriate law enforcement/University officials.

The trainings are offered monthly in person and virtually.

Look for the above Hazing Prevention Advocate Network placard on staff/faculty office doors or your peers' laptops to identify an advocate who can help connect you to the right people should you know of or experience acts of hazing!
