Dr. Matthew Richardson is the Director of the Center for Fraternal Values and Leadership. He is a Brother of Delta Chi Fraternity. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Duquesne University in 2009, a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron in 2011, and a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. He is a "dog dad" to two miniature boxers named Thor and Loki. Dr. Richardson also has two nieces he loves to spoil named Emma and Mackenzie. His sister and brother-in-law are proud alumni of the WVU Fraternity & Sorority Community.
Graduate Assistant for the Interfraternity Council & Chapter Management
Ethan Atkinson is an alumnus of the Alpha Alpha Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, where he has served as President. He is the recipient of the 2019-2020 Chapter President of the Year award through the Center for Fraternal Values and Leadership. Ethan is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree while serving as the primary advisor for the Interfraternity Council and chapter support coach for member fraternities.
Graduate Assistant for Culturally-Based Fraternal Organizations
Madison Ware is pursuing a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Duquesne University. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. As the Graduate Assistant for Culturally-Based Fraternal Organizations, Madison serves WVU as the primary advisor to the National Pan-Hellenic Council. She also is also coordinating the Center's efforts to establish a Multicultural Greek Council.
Graduate Assistant for Strategic Initiatives
Hunter Butkovic serves the Center for Fraternal Values and Leadership as the Graduate Assistant for Strategic Initiatives. In this role, Hunter is responsible for COVID-19 response and support as well as harm reduction education. Hunter is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she joined Delta Zeta Sorority. She is currently enrolled in the WVU College of Law, studying to become an attorney.
Senior Student Assistant & Office Manager
Lyndsey Schultz joined the Center for Fraternal Values and Leadership staff in Fall 2019. She is a Sister of Alpha Phi Sorority. As Senior Student Assistant and Office Manager, Lyndsey coordinates the everyday operations of the Center including customer service and administrative support.
Senior Student Assistant & Assistant to the Director/Special Projects
Nathan Shoeman joined the Center for Fraternal Leadership and Values staff in Spring 2020. Nathan is a Brother of the Delta Chi Fraternity. As Senior Student Assistant and Assistant to the Director/Special Projects, Nathan provides administrative support to the Director of the Center and coordinates special initiatives sponsored by the Center staff.
