Greek Alumni Hall of Fame
In an effort to honor the accomplishments of alumni/ae members of the fraternity and sorority community at West Virginia University, the Hall of Fame Program will induct a class of honorees in the Spring semester of each academic year.
The Hall of Fame aims to:
- Recognize accomplishments of alumni/ae members of fraternity and sorority life at WVU
- Encourage alumni/ae engagement
- Foster a sense of pride
- Promote life-long membership through recognition of service
Eligibility
Applications are accepted year-round. During the annual Homecoming celebration in the Fall semester of each year, the new class of inductees of the Greek Alumni Hall of Fame will be honored at a formal reception.
The following individuals are eligible for nomination:
- Alumni/ae of past and present chapters on campus, given that the chapter held a charter at West Virginia University and maintained University recognition
- Advisors to past and present chapters on campus regardless of place of initiation
- University dignitaries (Fraternity and Sorority Life Staff, Dean of Students, past Greek Advisors, etc.) that hold Greek membership in a social fraternity or sorority and/or who have worked directly with the fraternity and sorority community at WVU
Selection
The Selection Committee will be comprised of alumni, CFVL staff, current undergraduate students, past inductees and representatives from the WVU Alumni Association.
